how to send email with attachment

How to send email using c# web application with pdf or doc file attachment.

user can attach pdf, doc file in mail

file should be validate if user attach other file instead pdf or .doc then message should be display.

sir after using your code it generate below error. i have tried many code but this error is generate every time.
can you please help me to resovle this error...?

i made some changes in your code for my attachment..
