if you know the rate o then you can calculate sgst or cgst
if you know the sgst or cgst then you can calculate rate

hi all

if you calculate sgst or cgst then u can use this code 100% work

first take 6 textbox
1 button
1st textbox is quantity, 2nd textbox is rate, 3rd textbox is amount & 4th cgst% , and textbox5 is cgst amount & last net amount

now use this method...
double clik on button event

   int a = convert.toint32(textbox1.tex);
   int b = convert.toint32(textbox2.tex);

   int c = a+b
textbox3.tex = c.tostring();
// now gst calculate

int d = convert.toint32(textbox3.tex);
int e = convert.toint32(textbox4.tex);

//now you get total (net amount)

Hi Jyothi,

The best way is , while entering product master update the product GST details also.

whether the product MRP is included with GST or Separate GST.

IF it included GST enter the GST percentage and store in product master.

If it is not included in GST , enter the proper GST for that product.,

If it is everything in master, it will be easy to biling. Otherwise you have write some manual code in biling module

   Answer :

Before Enter into the Calcuation of rate, you must check whether the MRP of the ITEM including GST or not? if it including GST you don't need to calculate the GST. simply calculate the Rate. if the MRP of the ITEM is not include with GST then calculate the GST for your Item.

Hi Jyothi,

Your total amount is 500.

so, sgst 6 % +cgst 6% =12%

percent=(totalamount*12)/100=60

sgst= percent/2; //30
cgst=sgst; //30

Rate =totalamount+percent ; //560
sgst=30,cgst=30 ,rate =560,totalamount=500

Are you asking to calculate the gross price excluding gst?

If yes, then formula is
BasicCost = (Qty * Rate)/(1+(GST/100))

hi,
before calculating gst you can chack if that item is applicable for gst, if its applicabal then you can calculate gst and add to that item cost, else same item cost
