how to set ranking in dropdownlist in Jquery

I have 10 dropdown list or more its dynamic list for the ranking number.

in this drop-down list are set to rank number.

case 1:

if I have selected 2nd no option as "1" rank then don't allow another drop-down list "1" number.

case 2:

if 1st I have set Ranking 1 to end of the number. then I won't change this ranking that time this ranking will be changed without repeating any numbers.

I have made some changes in your code. Removed the unwanted Jquery reference and no conflict. we don't need "$.noconflict" if we use only one jquery reference.

the ranking is not working on that code.
case 1:
1st select all value as ,1,2,3,4,5
then select 1st drop down box then change this drop down box value is "4" but 4th drop down box cannot changed..but.I want to change the 4th drop down box value is "1".

The ranking is also done in the code, change the dropdown list rank and let me know.

ur code is correct in generating drop-down box..this code I have generated.
but I want to rank as like below Link

case 1:
if I have select 1st drop-down box "1" rank.
2nd drop down box 2nd Drop down "2" rank
3rd drop down box 3rd Drop down "3" rank

case 2:
then I want to change this ranking as 2nd drop down box rank no is "3" and 3rd drop down box rank number is "2" this will change.

Enter your Number:

Run the html code and it ask you number of text boxes. Enter 5 and click the Run button
