How to solve this error by php:

#1140 - In aggregated query without GROUP BY, expression #1 of

SELECT list contains nonaggregated column 'table'; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by

hi,
i think $to date is not in a proper format check that '2018-05-01' AND '2018-05'

Hi, add group by date and descr end of your string as $view2="select date,sum(amt),descr from expenses where (date BETWEEN '$from' AND '$to') && supplier_id='6' && pro='BILL IN' group by date,desc ";

I got this error if i run this query

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[date],sum(amt),descr from expenses where date BETWEEN '2018-05-01' AND '2018-05' at line 1

Your query should be like this :
$view2="select [date],sum(amt),descr from expenses where date BETWEEN '$from' AND '$to' && supplier_id='6' && pro='BILL IN' group by [date],descr";

Please share your sql query, I think you are using aggregated function without Group By.
