Try with below code:
// Create decimal list
List tempDecimalList = new List()
{
Version.Parse("10.0.20"),
Version.Parse("10.0.10"),
Version.Parse("1.33"),
Version.Parse("1.33.1"),
Version.Parse("10.0.40")
};

// Do an order by decimal list
var originalList = (from rec in tempDecimalList
orderby rec
select rec).ToList();
