I recommend using Visual Studio as your Integrated Development Environment (IDE). You can install it using the following. Your choices depend on what you want to do. Fortunately it is very easy to modify the installation and either install or unisntal features later. Microsoft heavily emphasiazes Visual Studio Code instead of Visual Studio as an IDE. The names are similar but they are very different. Visual Studio is older, is bigger and much more powerful. I think that Visual Studio is easier to use. If you want to use Visual Studio then you will need to find trutorials and books that show how to use it instead of Visual Studio Code.
