How to stop or uncheck the Oracle 9i services?

My system has become slow after installation of Oracle 9i, somebody told me to uncheck some services of Oracle 9i but I do not know how to do it, plz help me in this, in a step by step manner since I am a novice in it. Thank you in advance.
