how to store result of web services into postgresql database

Question

i have web-service of aspx result that result i want store in PostgreSQL database. Creating of web services and calling that service to application till that i achieved but i need to store result of web-service to PostgreSQL database

Wonderful. Thanks for sharing it. I have never worked on PostgreSQL, so just briefly glanced through documentation and notice that it is having normal db data types and also a json datatype in latest version. If you wish to store json, just take the part between and and store it. If you wish to have a normal table with columns like crop_code, crop_name, then write a function in language of your preference (for example, C#) to create a array (or list) of Crop class with properties CropCode, CropName and send that list to data access layer. Where you make a calls to stored procedure (if available in PostgreSQL) or just build a string of "Insert into CropTable..." and execute that string. The most important point i wanted to make is you cannot just send a response to back end and store it there. There must be some mechanism which will normalise the data and then store it in db. Hope you get it.

I don't think it can be done directly, as you might be thinking. If you give an sample of the web service response (with dummy values), if possible, it will be easy to provide solution.
