How to trace bounced email using asp.net and c#

Hi,
I'm developing email application using ASP.NET and c#. i have to trace bounced emails and need to store the status report in a database. i need ideas and sample code(if any) for doing this task.

i think its a tough task. there is no direct way to achive this. 
Might using some third party softwares or libraries will helps, like Outlook, lotus etc.

Another way, check the :\Inetpub\Mailroot folder of server for mails.

Badmail is for mail that can't be delivered for some reason (eg from: domain can not be found in the DNS).
Drop is "pickup" directory for the SMTP server.
Queue is for queued mail - mail that can't be delivered immediately, and needs to be saved to be sent at a later time.
Mailbox is for mail that the SMTP server has received.

hi, sorry for late reply. i'm using godaddy's dedicated server and i have hosted my website in that. here webmail is used to manage my email account. thank you.

Which software configured to your mailing server. For example am using Microsoft Outlook.

As i said you need using some third party softwares or libraries will helps, like Outlook, lotus etc. to access the mail server and retrive the mails. Also, you need to create an valid email account on mail server [email protected] so all the bounce mails got recived in inbox..

thanks for your reply suthish , I have referred http://forums.asp.net/t/1218507.aspx, according o that i have create an email-id [email protected], and redirect the bounced mails to that mail id. Now i'm receiving bounced email in [email protected]. Now i want to retrieve bounced emails and store the report in database using my application. how can i do that...?
