How to use Ajax Calendar in Grid View to disable past date

hi ,

i have used Ajax Calendar in Grid View Item template and want to disable past date in grid view and want to show future 6 month calendar enable .please tell me how to do .

Hi ,

Please use Gridview Rowdatabound event for this as calender extender is inside gridview. Add namespace in codebehind. Find Calender extender id in this event and set the date.

if (e.Row.RowType == DataControlRowType.DataRow)
{
AjaxControlToolkit.CalendarExtender CalendarExtender11 = (AjaxControlToolkit.CalendarExtender)e.FindControl("CalendarExtender1");
CalendarExtender11.EndDate = DateTime.Now;
CalendarExtender11.StartDate = DateTime.Now;
}

Here CalendarExtender11 is the id of your calender extender inside gridview

without grid view its working on page load but if i used ajax calendar control in grid view then its not working on page load

How to set current date to StartDate property. I used this on page load but it not working. txtschedulestrtdt_CalendarExtender.StartDate = DateTime.Now;

Thanks for your quick reply. I have used but ajax calendar id is not working in page load. and for disable past date i want to set DateTime.Now to StartDate how to set

Hi Vaishali,

Ajax calender in ajax toolkit has properties StartDate and EndDate. You can use these properties to disable whatever dates you want to block.
