How to View a Pdf by Clicking a Href link or LinkButton in

hi Developers,

i want to View a Pdf of any Attachment by Clicking a Href link or LinkButton in Asp.Net.

and the Attachments should be open a blank page as well.

the Attachments are Bind from the Database.

i have trying with google if anyone have a better choice to this please suggest me to i am done this task.

It seems that you want to view the PDF file in browser using its URL (without downloading). Nowadays most browsers have Acrobat Reader plug-in installed, and rendering PDF files is supported.
But if you don’t want to rely on Adobe, you need to use a library (LEADTOOLS) that can render PDF files in web page. You can check an online demo here:

In which point you are having trouble? Binding pdf link from database or opening in new tab?

For opening a pdf in new tab, just give target="_blank" in your anchor tag.

Similest way is by adding Response header of content-disposition and providing the file path and transmitting the file.
protected void lnkDownload_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)
        {
            //path of the pdf file
            var path =  Server.MapPath("Content") + "\\MyPDFFile.pdf";

            var cd = new System.Net.Mime.ContentDisposition();
            cd.FileName = path;
            cd.Inline = false;

            Response.AddHeader("Content-Disposition", cd.ToString());
            Response.TransmitFile(path);
            Response.Flush();
            Response.End();

        }
