how to write in a file a multiline TextBox?

If i write the textbox value at a file, it writes each line of the textbox in a different line of the file. How can i write all lines of the textbox in the same file line? thnx

What do you mean? Writing lines in a file is impossible. A file is one stream of bytes. If you open such a file (with notepad or something) the bytes representing a new line gets recognized and processed accordingly. If you don't want the newline character in the file you could first manipulate the string that is saved to that file. saveString = someTextBox.Text.Replace("\n" ,""); or saveString = someTextBox.Text.Replace(Environment.NewLine ,"");
