I am a Computer science fresher with 53% in B.Tech

Though I have good aggregates in X and 2, I am having only 53% in my B.tech. Presently I am taking a course in .Net development. How'll be my career opportunities. Thanks.

Percentage doesn't matter in Software industry, As you are from Hyderabad I suggest you to join the dotnet course in sathya technologies or Naresh technologies,these technologies are top in dotnet course and top technologies in Ameerpet Hyderabad. You can start with dotnet plus Web technologies like JavaScript , HTML 5 or CSS 3 it's added advantage if you know web technologies including dotnet course. Do dotnet course with good practice of logical programms, OOPS classes and objects and Ado.net programms. Try to get more programms from online website and try your own to resolve. Once you done perfect with your course as I mention above with all practicals then try to attend interviews. If you face 1st interview then write down questions asked in 1st interview,then prepare these questions + other dotnet questions for 2nd interview and repeat this process until you get a good job. Good Luck and Work Hard.

Don't worry about %,because most want company want what you have done in technologies ,Because you are fresher so firstly please learn basic asp.net deeply and search job in market ,definitly you will find good job,
I believe in knowledge not exp.that's why i am saying.

Hi,
Focus on the aspects of programming, core concepts and hands on coding. I highly recommend to get good at web, Language and database concepts. Make sure you so some project work or at-least have a proof of concept (POC) of what you have planning to learn by your self.
In addition it is also important to focus and groom yourself on interpersonal skills including communication.

First of all percentage never matters in IT. I agree that those help for first job or campus selection. But in real IT life passion, practical's, knowledge is more important.

As you are taking .NET development course, try to find job in .NET. Initially please do not consider the salary, only live experience. It will increase the confidence and will also get the right carrier path.

Please prepare for .NET and related technologies like JavaScript. You can also try for .NET certification till the time there is no job.
