I am planning to design new IDE

                              I am doing this in windows form itself not in WPF. I am designing this just to drag and drop buttons in run time environment and to connect those buttons with a wire. This is part of embedded systems.

                              I have one more doubt that "is there any kind of generic templates are available to design IDE's?"  May be it could be silly....but I need that answer. I have very less time to design. Please give me ur suggestion.

Are you doing this in Windows Forms or WPF?

Here are a few things you need to search this site for. Go to home page of C# Corner and click on Search textbox. You are looking for these things:

1. MDI form
2. Docking windows
3. PropertyGrid

First, you are going to build an MDI interface with docking windows. To create a Toolbox like control, you can place your controls on a UserControl. You will need to learn how to write Custom and USer controls.

Search site for

1. custom control
2. user control

These are some starting points.

I have seen some where a project that looks like Visual Studio IDE in Windows Forms section but can't find it now.

Post your questions if you still can't find these topics.

             I am developing an application in which i need to create my own tool box containing some custom controls. Then i should be able to drag and drop those controls from that tool box to the design area.( we can say that i need to create an application similar to visual studio IDE). My application must contain the tool box and the design area and the properties settings. I want to know, whether it is possible to implement in easy way by using .NET( or any other) or is there any generic templets or software to achieve this.  Please if could suggest me in this, it would be more appreciable.

Did you look at the articles in this web site? Look in the Windows Forms articles; I think I saw a couple of articles there that might help.
 
Otherwise, I am not sure what the question is; can you be more specific about what you need help with?
