i m not able to store and retrieve the data in sqlserver

Question

i have made a registration form using bootstrap in asp.net with all its required validation. Now ,i m not able to store it in sqlserver. i also need one more help. i have one table for registration with following fields name ,lastname,username,email address...... Now,i have another form ....where i want the user to enter his username and i want his mail address to be automatically generated in email textbox

Hi Nikita, Please Try to write following connection string cn.ConnectionString = @ "Data Source=YOURSERVER\SQLEXPRESS; Initial Catalog=YOURDATABASE; Integrated Security=SSPI" ; And also Comment Your Connection string which you written in Load Event of Page. con.ConnectionString = "Data Source=SNEHA\SQLEXPRESS; Initial Catalog=toursandtravels; Integrated Security=true" ;

Hi Nikita, If you can show that error so may i can give solution for that. but now first you need to check your database connection string. may be issue is in your database connection please check it once again. Second is you said you want to get autometically user's email from registration table when user enters his/her username in textbox right ? So, Solution is that in Leave Event of Username Textbox simply get Email of that user by using select statment like SELECT email FROM tbl_Registration WITH (NOLOCK) WHERE Username = 'abc' store the result in variable and simply assign value of that variable to your txtEmail.Text

i am not getting any error ...but still it is not getting stored in database.Maybe the problem is with connection string but i m not able to point it out.
