I tried to expand the database it takes too long to open the Databases

connected to my database but when I tried to expand the database it takes too long to open the Databases.(it takes 1 hour) I really don't know what to do. I need assistance please.(SQL Server at a plesk provider)

There are many reson
- Your System Speed
- Internet Connection
- Database Size
- SQL Port Blocked by Firewall

I guess you have shared hosting. As in shared hosting , there are data bases of other users also so it takes time.

You can directly log in to Plesk and check your data base using the provided console (myphpAdmin etc.).

Or even better, consult the Support Team.

There can be multiple reasons for this:
- Your database size is too large.
- You may be on a slow Internet. The closer you are to the database location, the faster you will have access.
- You may not have enough resources (memory, hard drive, speed, processor) in your computer.
- Your server or connection (firewall, network, hosting provider, server) may be slow
You can solve these problems by having a faster internet connection and a faster computer and asking your backend support to see why the database access is too slow.
