I Want To Do Permission Level For Specific Users?

Please follow below steps to implement permission level:

 

Step 1: Design table(tbl_User) to store user's role.

Id Name Role

--  -------  ----- 

1  you     1

2  you2   2

3  you3   2

 

Here Role column plays vital  role. It stores values likes 1,2 ,3 - means 1 for Admin, 2 for supervisors, 3 for normal users. Its datatype tinyint in SQL Server

 

Step 2 : Fetch User role from database. When a user will login, you need to validate with database and fetch the user info from Database. At the same time you will also fetch user role. If you are using web application(ASP.NET) then store it in session(Session["role"] = fromDB). Othe other hand if you are using Windows application then store in a static variable.

 

Step 3: Once you are done with fetching data and store data(user role), it is time to implement your exact requirement. Means if user role is 1 then Admin, Admin can do everything and same for other values. Normal user can see only data(fetch value from session and display/hide edit button).
