I want to make an app with xamarin that i can already make in console

Question

I want to make an app with xamarin with c# I can build the full application I want with all of the abilities I want in the console. How big of a learning curve will it be to make an app that does the same?

 

I imagine the looks will be the most difficult part seeing as I have 0 experience as that. But how hard will it be to put in an iOS app to run a method when I click a button rather than when I complete an if statement. Or instead of console.readline() have a text box for me to type in. Will this be extremely difficult for me? I’m willing to try even if it is but I want to know what I’m getting myself into. Also if you know of a good tutorial for it I would appreciate it. Though I can do a quick Google search otherwise. But if you know one you know is really good I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!
