i want to multiply two values one from the text box and the other from the combobox and put the values in next text box

private void button1_Click(object sender, EventArgs e)

        {

            int firstNumber = Convert.ToInt32( txtNumber.Text);

            int secondNumber = Convert.ToInt32(cmdNumber.Text);

            txtOutput.Text = (firstNumber * secondNumber).ToString();

        }

Try:

double value1, value2;
double.TryParse(textBox1.Text, out value1);
double.TryParse(comboBox1.Text, out value2);
textBox2.Text = (value1 * value2).ToString();

Note that 0 is substituted if what's in the box can't be parsed to a double.
