I want to store 200 options in list in asp.net web and retrieve whenever use . How can i get this? Plz help me with code

You can store in database and cache, refresh cache whenever new entries are added.

Hi Naveen,
Store your options in database and retrieve whenever you needed. It is good option. In future if you want to add/delete/edit any ietme then you can do it DB itself.No need to modify your ASP.NET code.

Best way is to store these options in Database table and use .net ActionFilters or you can create a global list load data every time you load that page or api.

To add values use this
for (int i = 0; i < listLength; i=i+100)
{
var items = bigList.Skip(i).Take(100);
// Do something with 100 or remaining items
}
To retrieve use this

For example: add this method to your ControllerClass
public ReturnType GetMethod(int id)
{
ReturnType item = repository.Get(id);
if (item == null)
{
throw new HttpResponseException(HttpStatusCode.NotFound);
}
return item; }

You can retrieve elements through AJAX request. This will not increase load on page.

You can expose the Array of elements to one Api Endpoint. the Api Endpoint will be of return type string[]/List and will show response as ["item1","item2","item3","item4",..]. Then write the HTML and JS Code below,
