IE 8 Style Sheet Issue - With Ip and With DNS name ?

we have style sheet for dropdown. When you browse the application from IE 8 browser with IP address, the style sheet applied. But when you browse with some DNS name, style sheet is not applied for dropdwon in IE 8 browser.

For eg. http://10.234.24.35/apps/ --- Dropdown style applied in IE 8 browser

but in the case of http://abc.cc.com/apps/ --- Dropdown style not applied in IE 8 browser

Any solution ?
