I'm interested in design. what should i learn and how ....

There already are a few answers to your post but still I want to add my points that might be helpful to you or someone else.
1. Designing doesn't only require Photoshop, CSS, bootstrap and HTML. It also require decent creativity. With all those tools you can copy a design but to make your own unique design you need to have some creativity too.
2. As you said you have to search Google for small code functionalities, the same will hold true for designing profile as well.
3. In designing you need to keep yourself updated with the new JavaScript libraries coming in market.
4. On deciding on profile, I will suggest you to go for what you like but before deciding on what you like, do a decent amount of work on both the sides. Without working for decent amount of time, its difficult to say you are passionate about that particular job.
5. On job security, I will say your job is secured as long as you keep learning new things in your field. So it hardly makes a difference whether you go for designing or coding.

Coding and Designing will go hand-in-hand....

For any website to be popular..... its designing should also be good... and functionality wise also... it should be error-free..

Eg - Package and Product - Both are important....

It is good that you have interest in designing also...

I would advise... learn both - Designing and Coding....

Hi, first I would like to point out that 2 years of coding experience is really not much, especially considering that this experience includes both mobile and web based development. I know you probably get frustrated because you sometime need to search for a code of some basic functionality.

But that is natural and you should not be discouraged, it just means you need more practising. If you enjoy programming then I would recommend you to invest your free time in it as well, try to develop something that you would find interesting.

You can also try practising with some coding challenges like with these HTML, CSS and JS coding tests or with these C# coding tests.

But if you really don't enjoy working as a programmer then I would definitely suggest that you consider some other profession because the truth is that as a developer you will never stop learning new things, it just comes with the territory.

Now regarding the designer profession, that is a bit wide term but I will presume you are talking about web designer.

In that case I must agree with Vithal, HTML5, CSS3, SVG and skills like that have become almost an essential skill set that are required from the designer.

Don't get me wrong the photoshop skills are still needed, but no one longer creates a full web design in PSD and then crops it into HTML.

Also the last thing that I will mention regarding the job safety, well I'm afraid this question is related to your culture (your home place) because in some places you can find designers to be highly wanted, but in other almost no positions are opened.
