iNSERT,UPDATE,DELETE ON GRIDVIEW

Question

I am new to ASP.NET. I want to perform insert,update,delete on gridview.I read some article about that but don't understand that how to design gridview for that. Please help me on this topic and explain the step by step designing of gridview so that I perform these three operation on that?
