Inside griview how to show the panel while clicking the butt

I have a gridview it contains one button ,inside griview i have a panel ,when i click on a button,the panel will shown.Basically i put the panel style:dispaly:none.

I tried some method but thats nOt working.

Hi,

Your "show" function should be like below -

function Show(obj) {
$(obj).parent().parent().find('[id*=pnlGrd]').show();
return false;
}

Hi,

That depends on where your button is. Which means if it is inside same itemtemplate of first button or inside other item template, likewise..

There is no common way to show that in gridview. You have to identify that particular button or any control for particular row using parent(), child(), etc.. methods of jquery.

But Now am adding One more button inside gridview .So How to show the button in jquery.

Hi,

In the code you provided, there is one button inside gridview which on clicking calls Show() function. Next button is inside Datalist.

So which button you are talking about showing while clicking first button?

How to show the other button in function SHOW()

Am using this method
function Show(obj) {
$(obj).parent().parent().find('[id*=pnlGrd]').show();
var obj1 = document.getElementById($ ('[id*=btnSea]'));
$(obj1).show();

return false;

Now my issue is I have a gridview ,in the girdview am using button and inside the gridview am using one datalist it contains some datas depond the gridview values.

When we click the button ,the datalist will show.

But Now my issue is the datalist is shown but all the datas in the Datalist is shown.

But i Need which row i click a button that row datas only shown
