internet explorer toolbar

Question

Hi all, I want to create a toolbar for Internet explorer. I'm almost at the end of my 3 year computer programming course and I'm finding myself not having any idea on where to start on something like this.. I can't find any resources on the net except for 1 example in c++ that is much to complicated for me to start with , and i saw one here on c-sharp corner but it too seems to have some flaws. Can anyone give me any starting points to do this? I want to do it in c# or vb.net.
