Is wcf work only in original version of visual studio

Hi friends
Is wcf work only with orignal version of visual studio because one of my friend having pirated version of visual studio 2008 in that wcf is not working i dont know why..kindly let me know.

If you want some quality development do this are the recommandation for WCF.
1) .Net framework 4.0
2) Windows7 O/s.
3) Dont use xp. Cause xp will not give Some Duplex communiaction facility very effectivelly.
4) IIS version 7.0 and above.

WCF was originally introduced in .NET 3.0 and so should be present in Visual Studio 2008 which uses .NET 3.5 by default.

Instead of using a pirated version, I suggest your friend uses the free Express edition instead which can be downloaded from http://www.microsoft.com/express/Downloads/.
