Is windows programming and .net framework

The .NET framework supports Windows programming using two application programming interfaces (APIs), namely:  Windows Forms (WF) and Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). Both of these APIs use managed code.

However, there are several other APIs which support Windows programming including Win32 (C language), Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC, unmanaged VC++) and the Windows Template Library (WTL, unmanaged VC++).

The most basic of these is the Win32 API, which is purely procedural, and the other APIs are built on top of this and wrap it to a greater or lesser extent within object oriented frameworks.
