Hi Aniket,

If you getting a date as 24 June or something then it can not be directly converted into a date you need some javascript code to convert this into a proper date

first, you need to create a helper function to convert the month name into month value and then split the given date into date and month part the paste the following code.
var months = [

'January', 'February', 'March', 'April', 'May',

'June', 'July', 'August', 'September',

'October', 'November', 'December'

];

function monthNameToNum(monthname) {

var month = months.indexOf(monthname);

return month ? month : 0;

}

var year = 2020 // I am assuming year as current year.

var dateToConvert = "24 June" ;

var datePartOfDate = dateToConvert.split(" ")[0];

var monthPartOfDate = monthNameToNum(dateToConvert.split(" ")[1]);

var finalDate = new Date(monthPartOfDate + "-" + datePartOfDate + "-" + year)
This solution will work in all the browser and mobile divices

Thanks all for the solution provided.

I just made slight change in the solution provided by Amar Srivastava
var finalDate = new Date(monthPartOfDate + "-" + datePartOfDate + "-" + year)
This was working in chrome and firefox but did not work in IE

So change this to
var finalDate = new Date(year,monthP,datePartOfDate)
For me this started working in all browsers

var parts ='2014-04-03'.split('-');
// Please pay attention to the month (parts[1]);
JavaScript counts months from 0: // January - 0, February - 1, etc.
var mydate = new Date(parts[0], parts[1] - 1, parts[2]);
console.log(mydate.toDateString());

Hello Aniket

I have been working with date and time since long and its better that you just explore by yourself
new Date("August  2, 2010 12:30:00");

If you directly write this code then u will get the date and time of you choice

Below is the format that you declare date with time

new Date(year, month, day, hours, minutes, seconds, milliseconds)

new Date(2010, 02, 2, 12, 30, 0)

Thanking You
