You can implement it in following ways:

Option 1:

return RedirectToAction("MyAction", "Home");

Option 2:

return Redirect("Home/MyAction");

Option 3:

return RedirectToRoute("MyRoute");

Then define "MyRoute" in your routeConfig.cs file:

public static void RegisterRoutes(RouteCollection routes)

{

routes.MapRoute(

"MyRoute", // Route name

"Home/", // URL

new { controller = "Home", action = "MyAction"} // Parameter defaults

);

}
