ODBC is not needed to create CSV's is what I said, CSV is simple text files NOTHING MORE.
Jet can be opened by ODBC Jet cannot open ODBC, ODBC can open MSSQL, MSSQL cannot open ODBC
The examples that you and others gave georgio obout odbc was amusing, importing all those overheads for something as simple as a text

You don't need odbc to create a CSV file end of story.
