Location of database in C#

Hi all, I am currently working on an SMS application using Visual Studio 2005 and am using a source code from Codeproject.

The problem is, there seems to be a lot of database files so its kind of messy and when I try sending an SMS message, all 4 different locations of the databases take the information from there so I am quite confused on which is the main database file.

\bin\Debug\database
\bin\Release\database
\bin\Release\bin\Debug\database
\bin\Release\bin\Release\database

When I try to delete either one of the databases, it will compile an error. As far as I know, you should only have one main database file to retrieve the data.

It will usually go to the

\bin\Debug\database
\bin\Release\bin\Debug\database

so I will end up with 2 databases and it won't work if either of them is removed. Please help?

I can't understand perfectly your need, it is possible to find info about the used databases from the config file via the connection strings collection
