Login and Logout Issue

Hi,

I have found few problems which may or may not be a bug... When ever i login to the account and do some update in the forum and again after quite some time when i try to update its asking for the login credentials again... Do they have any time period whr it will automatically logoff?

It happens for me usually more than once a day. As an editor, I sometimes have a problem in which I can't save changes after I edit an article. It is possibly caused by a spontaneous unexplained logoff. There are many other times when I am not logged in and there is no explanation why.

If you look around, someone else reported this problem about a month ago. The problems I have might not be the same problems that others have but other members have reported problems such as you describe. I wish they could fix the problem and/or make it easier to log in by making it possible for the userid and password to be stored in the cookie.

Note that the ultimate solution is the new software for the web sites. Most of the development work is going into that. I am thankful that at least we don't lose the work we put into composing replies in the forums.

I use KeePass to help log in.

Hi, but for me its happening frequently... Try use it in a public computer once... in my home system i dont see this happen... you can try it out in some public systems...

I am not finding that type of problem since last my registration in this forum.
I am always be logged in inthis forum. Never be loged out from the forum.
I never found this type of problem.
