hi guys i have web application and some pages i want to make the some page only access by the login user .other user can not access these pages help me how do i can do this ..

@imran, it depends on your need and problem on your hand. That's all. If you want to go with simple, then go with Form authentication.

@Mithun, Session is NOT for authentication or Authorization. So you should avoid this. @Imran, You should consider using some Authorization techniques. We are not very much sure what type of authentication technique you are following as of now. Hi, Please use Session for storing login id, and in the post login pages check session values. On login set Session value as userid Session["Userid"]="Loginname"; And in post login page check if session exists. if(Session["Userid"] != null) //Display your page else //Redirect to login page And on logout just do an Session.Abandon();
