Looking for articles /tutorials on binding through XMAL of properties to Various controls

Hi guys,
I am a third year Software development student from Ireland and am looking for some helpful information about binding styles and other properties to controls through XAML in WPF. Information and examples of static resources and how they are used and there benifet would also be a great help.
