Paging is more beneficial when fetching more data. Offline architecture with paging doesn't help in memory optimization because dataset contains all the tables in memory itself. Anyway, if still want that you can create a dataset and fetch no of rows from the original datasource and insert respective rows into dataset as datatable, now your dataset contains multiple tables, just bind that array of datatable with gridview with paging functionality
