Mail box in the header?

I noticed one thing...

In C# corner, mail box located in the my account section. It is not highlighted... if it is in the head section then it will be good. (Already logged username, logout button is there... Inbox(3) like that will be good)

If i want to send the message to some body then i need to go to that person profile and need to click on the Send Message button... Otherwise i should know the person name or user name something).

If we can have some thing like auto drop down box in the 'To' field then it will be good to identify the person name to send message.
