Make menu active while different page selection : Masterpage

Question

HI All , I want to make the menu selection to be active , while selecting different page selection in menu. it should be expanded.I have created master page for design.How can i implement it .give suggestion with sample code. after that click that summary sale , it redirect to summarysales page but it shows as like follows. i require to make that summary sale menu item to be active. You can put that logic in the master page itself or in common js which used in the master page and shared in all child pages.

Hi Pathan, Thanks for your respose. your mentioned url example good. but i want to implement that concept.i am not sure where to put the jquery function. becoz i have used the master page in this. In this case , where should i place that code. if you clarify those thing it would be beneficial for me . Thanks , Karthikeyan K
