Making Trigger which Fires everyday & should return perticular data to aspx page

Hello there,

I am making thought of the day block. so I have stored all thought data in a table.
now I want that thought should change everyday automatically in that block of .aspx page.
so tell me what should I do? I am thinking of making a Trigger which will fire
everyday retrieve thought data from table & will return that data to .aspx page.
please tell me what to do? I am using SQL Server 2005 & ASP.NET,C#(3.5).

Additional information:

there is a .aspx page on which small say windows are there for news today's birthday, thought of the day so i want to show thought in that small window in aspx page.
 I don't want to send that thought personally to each user. it's a common page
