MasktextBox get cleared when loosing focus

Question

I have masktextbox to enter a date for user registration date. But when I press tab or give focus to any other control in my form then that date get vanishes or say invisible. So that my sql server database get null value after inserting data into database table.  What is the issue? Plz Help.Thanks in advance
