What is the prime differnce between deploying .NET Core app on Azure App service and Azure kubernetes Platform?

What is the key differences/Advantages of choosing any one over Others in terms of cost and scalablity.

I have microservice based .NET Core(3.1) blazor web assembly app that needs to deployed on Azure cloud
