Hi Experts, For searching fuctionality i am using below dll Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word is this open source or paid? if it is paid can you suggest free dll for word seaching. Thank You advance

Interop references needs office installation on the target machine. If office packages aren't installed then you are not able to work with word files. Its neither paid nor free. It just works as the license of the office package.

The word interop dll requires Microsoft Office to be installed.
