Hi,
We are currently using sharepoint 2010, we have 2 domains right now, abc1.com and abc2.com including both we have about 15000+ users
and on our new Azure AD we have new domain name xyz.com and all the users from the current domains have been migrated their and their email IDs are changed.
we are planning to use sharegate tool for migration purposes, but I want to understand while migration how Sharegate will map the respective permissions of the users. how it will find the email id's of those users someone please help me to understand this?
and is it easy migration process since we have 2 domains to be migrated to one online domain of azure AD.
Please let me know if more details are need to understand this.
Thanks,

Hi Ajay,
Based on your situation, you can follow these steps to map your users in ShareGate.
Hope it will help. Thanks.

Hi Ajay,
Wish you happy new year!!
The ShareGate migration is a tool which does not migrate users and security groups to your active directory before kick start the migration we need to sync the Active Directory at the destination, so your users and groups are available during the migration.
Once the users and groups are sync the SG will create a mapping, if not you can also create custom mapping of the users.
