Move from sql server 2005 to sql server 2008 r2

I am going to be work on a C#.net 2008 application that be will be using sql server 2008 r2 instead of sql server 2005. Is there anything I need to be aware of since the database will be changing?

The database schema will be 'dbo'. However, several tables in the database will be removed and replaced by new redesigned tables.

Not really unless your database schema changes. Your current code should work just fine.
