i know this is not the place i am supposed to post this question. sorry for that. i need it urgently.
In my windows based application i am using ms access as backend. i set password for the dabase. but when i copy the mdb to another system, it doesn't prompt for any username or passwords and i am able to open it easily.so i want to restrict this. please help me

I think you can do this by right click on your database and then select properties, then select the security tab. In that you can set the rights to the particular user or machine.
