MSDE vs. Access

Question

Which Database should I use, Access or MSDE. I am making several small programs that will have from 1 to 10 simulations users. These will be deployed or distributed…(not sure of the right terminology)…to several locations. They will be used by several companies and may or may not be on networks. My question is this. Is using MSDE more trouble/work then using Access. The companies using these programs will likely not have SQL server running on their machines. Would it just be easier to use MSDE all the time and forget Access?
