MVC Async Request to refresh data with Jquery

Good day, I would like to find out how to refresh data in a MVC program, it must be an asynchronous request and you must also utilize Jquery. TIA

Good day, I am trying to get a generalized overview of different ways you can refresh different data elements asynchronously with jquery. It is prep from a test, so any information on various methods. Would be greatly appreciated. TIA

which type of data do you want to refresh?
you can use Ajax and in success function you can update the data that is being sent by controller Action
var sendDocsToDelete = function (docsArray) {
    $.ajax({
        type: 'POST',
        url: 'Controller/Action',
        data: JSON.stringify(DataThatYouWantToSend),
        contentType: 'application/json; charset=utf-8',
        datatype: 'json',
        success: function (result) {
          // update any html area with result data
        },
        error: function (result) {
            alert('Fail ');
        }
    });
