Hi,

Input elements with type="date" do not show as any date field/calendar in Firefox or in IE 11 and earlier versions.

If you want to use date control in IE, you could try with some jQuery library.

Are you using HTML5? If yes, then it may be teh case that your browser is pretty old and doesn't support that?

Can you give a try by changing the input field type from date to type="text" ?
