hey guys i am new to this forum, i am student
i am currently working on my college project, i have to develop a student information system.
i am using .net framwork platform..i am making windows application
i need help to choose database.i wanna make a single tier application
which would be the better databse.
MS acces, sql server compact or sql server express

and i am just concerned with the deployment problem
what all compnonets i have to include alongwith .netframework.so that my application can run properly...

ms access does not have security features and transaction support,
do u know d deployment for sql server express or compact.. or can proivde link to any such article

For college project MS ACCESS is enough as it is easy to work on easily deployable... But I advice u to use Sql Server which makes u learn more concepts which would be very useful in future....
