I am going to make a website where 10,000 user or 10,00,000 user can come concurrently and perform transactions.
I want to know which database to use, whether i should go with MSSQL or Oracle?
Please provide your suggestions.

Both systems are good. Oracle is a fine product. It has pluses and minuses. They're largely different than those associated with SQL Server. I wouldn't say either was better unless we're talking specific technology. For example, SQL Server has nothing like RAC. But SQL Server comes with better spatial technology out of the box.
If you are going to use the .Net then MSSQL will be good. Because both are tightly coupled.
