Difference between JWT and OAuth

Hi,

JWT is token format and OAuth is a protocal for authorization. The OAuth2 protocol does not specify the format of the tokens, therefore JWTs can be incorporated into the usage of OAuth2. Typically, in addition to the JWT metadata, the JWT bearer access tokens contain OAuth 2.0 metadata such as granted scopes and expiry time.
